Who can adopt?

Nice people only please

What is the cost to adopt a kitten?

Way less than it costs to take care of a teenie tiny up until adoption age. Our adoption fees include a vet check, first vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment as needed, and home socialization.

Our adoption fees are:

  • $300 for a pair of kittens* between 8 weeks and six months **Each additional vaccine a kitten has received in our care will increase their adoption fee by $25.

  • $550 for a pair of kittens who are fixed.

  • $175 for a single kitten (see below for our single-kitten policy) **Each additional vaccine a kitten has received in our care will increase their adoption fee by $25.

  • $300 for a single fixed kitten

  • $200 for a spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated (often first-round) Mama cat

What does it take to be a foster?

Time, a small space (kittens are really small), emotional stamina, willingness to work with our system. Check out the foster application for details.

Do I have to adopt two kittens?

Yup! Unless we believe a specific single kitten is better off on its own for some unusual reason, or you already have a young and engaging cat in your home. Kittens are social creatures and generally do better in pairs. Plus, they are a hoot to watch. And will be less likely to take out all their energy on your furniture. So, you can talk to us about one if you must, but be prepared for two!

What if I’m located outside of the GTA?

If you’re interested in adopting kittens but don’t live in the Greater Toronto Area, you may be better off checking in with your local rescues. We might be able to help you find one. It might still work out if you have transportation, and we are able to do our full adoption application remotely. We might be asking for some extra information.

What if I adopt a kitten and it doesn’t work out?

You made a commitment. Just kidding. We know you are committed. Talk to us. Talk to your vet. Google all the terms you can think of “cat toilet water” “cat scared spiders” “cat pee accident” “cat hates boyfriend” and you will be reading for weeks. So much good information (and some really bad, check your sources!!!) We will provide lots of links. We will do what we can to help. We want what is best for our kittens. Always.
